TYPES OF EXCAVATION
Excavation uses specialized trucks, tools and equipment to remove top soil and rocks to get below the surface. In some cases explosives may also be used, depending on the project.
Similarly to construction there are many types of excavation that can be done, based on the specific purpose or material being moved.
Channelling involves removing materials from drain ditches and channels. Often this is done to increase water flow or capacity to help prevent flooding or soil buildup.
Dredging takes place underwater and is used to remove large deposits of sediment, allowing these water bodies to be passable.
Drainage removes water from trenches, ditches, or agricultural sites or even structures with drainage issues. These ditches are expanded for funnelling water away from important areas.
Muck removal is common in wet low laying areas. Removing these materials and possibly bringing in gravel allows these types of land to dry out.
Footing is important for foundations of bridges, buildings, and industrial structures. The graded footing will distribute the load over a large area, ensuring these structures do not sink and have a long lifespan.

HYDRO & WATER SERVICES
TEAM Group has been providing hydro vac services for years. This type of soil removal is much more gentle than traditional methods. This means you can get access to a sewer line or power line with minimal risk of puncturing or breaking these lines.
